La Quinta by Wyndham Latham Albany Airport

Beautifully appointed rooms, spotlessly clean interior and exteriors, fantastic breakfast offerings, ample parking and close to so many stores and restaurants, lastly -- beautiful biking / running trails along the Mohawk River (just a short drive away). There's also a nice indoor pool for the kiddos and a modest fitness center (there's a Planet Fitness about a mile away that has short-term memberships--see "Mike" there, great gym, late hours and close to the hotel). The staff, superbly led by "Tiffany" with support from "Money" (correct spelling, what a cool name?) work tirelessly to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction. I personally observed Tiffany prepare breakfast one morning when they were short staffed and on another occasion cleaning the lower hallway areas -- that's "Hands-On" leadership at its best... .

The cleaning person, Lisa, was awesome and friendly. The front desk changed our room from an upstairs room to a first floor room for my friend that has a hard time walking with no issues. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was great on the weekends. Weekdays were not as great, no fresh milk, just coffee mate for the coffee. (yuck). Ice machine was close and worked great. the beds were very comfortable and the AC was great. Great stay.

The property was nice and clean. I love there was a fitness center available & breakfast available. A little store in the lobby to buy snacks. It was wonderful.

The parking lot was very dirty. There was condoms on the ground which was disgusting to see but other than that the hotel was nice could’ve done a little better job with the cleaning the staff was very friendly. The housekeepers was very nice. I will definitely be going back.

I was warmly greeted by Nikki on check-in who offered me warm cookies to take back to our room. She was the best! We received the room she said we would which worked out very well, close to the side entrance & h/c parking. Room was clean, bed was high but very comfortable. Happy there was a stationary chair (not on wheels) I could use next to the bed to climb in it. Breakfast the next morning was very nice, eggs, waffles, bagels, juice, coffee a nice bonus. Very near Dinertime diner & other places to eat & shop as well. We appreciated that Dinertime was open until 10:00 pm the night before (we drove in (4 hours) for a wake & ate nothing all day).
